Dr Dalal Alabbasi is an assistant professor in the field of educational technology. She is currently working as the General Manager of E-Learning department in Tatweer for Educational services (Talemia) based in Riyadh, which is owned by the government of Saudi Arabia that is the strategic partner of the Ministry of Education in developing the educational system to achieve the highest level of a global knowledge economy and, a key arm of its projects and programs aligned with Vision 2030. Dr Dalal holds a PhD in Educational technology from University of Manchester, and has held multiple positions in academia. In her current role in Talemia, she is leading two major transformational projects in E-Learning, part of the Human Capability Development program that is one of Saudi 2030 vision programs. Dalal worked on the project of developing a Digital Learning Framework for the ministry of education, developing policies and procedures for E-learning in the Kingdom and developing operational models to solve educational problems. Dr Dalal is a well known figure in educational technology, has participated in Local Tv interviews, and many conferences and events as a speaker about EdTech and Education reforms.
