Mr Albert Wong leads HKSTP on its mission to support tech startups and enterprises on their innovation and growth journey – specifically focusing on nurturing talent, entrepreneurship, connections and commercialising R&D. Since becoming CEO of HKSTP in 2016, HKSTP has grown into Hong Kong’s home for unicorns and the city’s largest R&D hub with over 12,000 research professionals and 1,200 tech companies. Albert brings with him 30-plus years of commercial, industrial and leadership experience through roles with various multinationals in the Asia-Pacific region and unique insight of how to build companies from the ground up, investment networks, and solving market needs.
