Jonathon is a founding partner of Cultiv8 and SparkLabs Cultiv8. He sits on the board of The Global Ag-Tech Ecosystem (GATE), set up by the NSW Department of Primary Industries (DPI). Jonathon Co-founded SparkLabs Cultiv8 in 2017, with the Accelerator being voted the 3rd most active in the world in 2021 by AgFunder. He is an experienced and active private investor, director and partner in several technology start-up companies. SparkLabs Cultiv8 have invested in almost 50 companies in the Agri-Food technology field which have gone on to raise more than $800m. Jonathon has extensive experience in treasury management, derivatives and risk management having previously acted in an advisory role within the corporate agricultural division of National Australia Bank. He has also worked on NAB’s commodity desk and Treasury Management team delivering structuring advice for corporate agriculture. Jonathon has run a successful agriculture and farming business in NSW
