In her current role with the UN Women Regional Office for the Arab States, she has been very instrumental in building media partnerships and leading digital campaigns to elevate the narrative around women’s empowerment across the region. With profound interest in the intersection of social media and gender equality, Reem utilizes digital platforms to support advocacy efforts. Her Master’s degree in Global Media and Digital Cultures from SOAS also brings valuable concrete knowledge on how digital platforms can advance the empowerment of women.
