Hanan Makki is an interdisciplinary artist, researcher, and lecturer specialising in game development, interaction design, and multimedia. She co-founded Qindeel Studio and currently leads the School of Games as the Gaming Program Manager at the Saudi Digital Academy, part of MCIT. With a PhD in Video Games from the University of Glasgow, her research focuses on developing the therapeutic and educational potentials of video games. Hanan combines her creative work and academic expertise to explore the intersection of technology, creativity, and education. With her creative work and research being showcased at international conferences and exhibitions, Hanan has earned grants and invitations from various organisations, establishing herself as a leading figure in the field of game development and research in Saudi Arabia.
