John is a Senior Managing Director and has been with the Firm for more than 35 years, beginning his career as part of the Management Information Consulting Division of Arthur Andersen in Melbourne in 1986. John currently leads Accenture’s Energy Industry globally. He is a member of the Global Resources Executive Committee (REC) and the Global Leadership Council (GLC) of the firm. The REC and the GLC are made up of the most senior leaders in Accenture (i.e. the top 0.1% of employees in the organization). He has been a member of the GLC for more than 10 years and has been a member of the REC since its formation. During his time with Accenture, John has worked in every aspect of Accenture’s business including running Resources across Europe, the Middle East, Russia, the Former Soviet Union, Africa and Latin America.
