Dr. Badr N. Alsuwaidan is the Senior Vice President and Chief Technical Officer of Arabsat since April 2020. He had previously served as a Consultant for the newly established Saudi Space Commission in June 2019. Prior, served at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where he served as Deputy Director for scientific affairs at National Satellite Technology Center, then become a Director for the Center in 2013. He became the Director of Space research institute in 2016. During his service at KACST he was involved in managing various satellite missions and its services.
