Ed has forty-five years of experience in International business. This included time living in Saudi Arabia, numerous visits to the Kingdom and several executive, and non-executive, board positions. His executive roles included Commercial and Project Management with the US construction giant, Bechtel. This was followed by Board and Officer positions with FLAG Telecom, when it developed a global submarine cable network. Finally, he had a critical role with Ciena Corporation in providing network solutions over new installed submarine cables or adding new transmission technologies to multiply the design potential on preexisting cables at a marginal cost.
