Kate Swanborg serves as the SVP of Technology Communications and Strategic Alliances at DreamWorks Animation. In her role, she sets the strategic direction for worldwide technology communications and business-to-business alliance efforts. Kate promotes DreamWorks’ commitment to innovative technologies that empower filmmakers and artists while driving new business initiatives. She identifies and manages technology alliances, co-marketing campaigns, and branding initiatives with partners. With a background as a public speaker, Kate delivers keynote addresses to enhance DreamWorks’ business messaging. Previously, she served as the studio’s Technology Production Manager, overseeing the integration of major production technology solutions. Kate holds an MFA from the University of California, San Diego, and a BA from Western Michigan University.
