Tol is a transactional/advisory commercial lawyer, with a focus on digital business. He practices technology, IP and privacy law, and particularly where those intersect, including for clients in the social media, entertainment, video game and AI spaces. Tol had a varied career as a hostage negotiator, car bodyshop and custom art studio owner, before joining the legal profession. He has a mix of private practice and in-house experience and moved to Founders Law from a position as commercial counsel to TikTok in January 2023.
