Edgar Chiu is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of SparkLabs Taiwan, a startup accelerator and venture capital fund focusing on investing in digital economy, deep tech, and AI startups. He leads a mentorship-driven program, propelling startups globally, and is a proud first institutional investor in many portfolio companies. SparkLabs Taiwan hosts Taiwan's largest demo day since 2018, each time attracting over 1,200 attendees, including over 400 international investors. Previously, he served as the founding COO of Gogolook, scaling Whoscall, a global caller ID service, before its acquisition by NAVER, the South Korean internet giant. Edgar has worked as an IBM strategy consultant and an HP supply chain management buyer planner. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Finance from National Tsing Hua University.
