Altaf AlThekair, has always been a self-starter who believes in the power of technology and how it can add ease and efficiency to people’s lives. She is the founder and CEO of Circle, a quick commerce application in Kuwait that offers two verticals: Circle TurboMart, which delivers groceries in 15 minutes via Circle's own dark stores, and Circle Shops, which has over 200 stores registered on the application, enabling customers to order directly from the store via Circle and receive their delivery within the same day. In addition to her work with Circle, AlThekair contributes her time to a variety of portfolio companies. She is a board member of Kuwait and Middle East Financial Investment Company (KMEFIC), a leading asset management and financial services company in the Middle East. KMEFIC is a publicly traded financial company listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange. Altaf is also a board member of AlMadar Finance and Investment Company, a publicly traded real estate investment and financial services company listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange. She is currently the CEO of AlThekair National, a leading FMCG company in Kuwait which is the exclusive distributor of the Kuwait Flour Mill. An alumna of the prestigious University of Southern California (USC), Altaf went to the Marshall School of Business Altaf to pursue an undergraduate degree with an emphasis on Finance and investments.
