Faris Lodin has extensive experience in the investment and venture capital industry. Faris began their career in 2018 as Managing Director at Sterling Equity. In 2019, they became Chief Executive Officer of Ecquitas, a venture-backed private equity technology platform. That same year, they also became an Entrepreneur In Residence at Antler, a global early-stage venture capital firm. In 2020, they joined the Investment Committee and Board of Directors of Dark Fiber, and also became a Board Member of Mama Net, FrontConnect, Shoot! by Ingres Technologies, and The Bread Bar. In 2021, they became Chief Executive Officer of AxeHedge and General Partner at MF Ventures, where they are investing into frontier technologies and network effects alongside BlackRock, Google Ventures, Kleiner Perkins, Tiger Global, GFC, Benchmark, Coatue, Franklin Templeton, and J. P. Faris Lodin has an extensive education history. Faris attended SRI KDU Secondary School in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a High School diploma. Faris then attended Abbey College Cambridge from 2011 to 2012, where they earned GCE Edexcel A Levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. From 2012 to 2015, Faris attended the University of Kent and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance and Economics. From 2015 to 2018, they obtained ACA - First-Time Passes from ICAEW. In 2017 and 2018, Faris attended Saïd Business School, University of Oxford for an Executive Programme. In 2021, they obtained a Valuation of Private Assets degree from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Additionally, Faris has obtained certifications from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford for the Oxford Programme on Valuation of Private Assets and Executive Programme.
