Anna Danes is an AI Ethicist who works with organizations to create frameworks and practical methods to ensure ethical developments of AI. Anna specializes in achieving organizational and cultural changes in companies by designing, implementing, and overseeing operational guidelines and functional processes. She is a firm believer in empowering the individuals in an organization to awaken their ethical imagination. Her work is addressed to leadership, C-level, engineering, and product teams. Today, she brings her previous experience as a Remote Teams Consultant for organizations like Comcast, Infor, and the US Government to all tech companies wanting to include Ethics in their DNA. She can navigate large multicultural organizations as well as startups. With her creativity and knowledge, Anna knows how to make cultural and structural changes happen organically without damaging innovation. Anna is an active member of OdiseIA, an independent non-profit observatory of the societal and ethical impacts of Artificial Intelligence. She has been a keynote speaker at the largest Software Development Conferences in Europe as well as a guest teacher at the UOC (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya). She is currently an Associate Professor teaching AI Ethics for the Health and Pharma industries at the Human Business School. Anna holds a Bachelor’s in Humanities from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, a Bachelor’s in Communication from Universitat Ramon Llull, as well as studies of Ethics, Technology and Engineering from the Eindhoven University of Technology and Data Ethics, AI and Responsible Innovation from The University of Edinburgh. She is currently focusing on consulting as well as designing and facilitating AI Ethics courses and workshops.
