As a founding partner at Speedinvest, Daniel covers limited partner relations and fundraising both on the fund and portfolio levels. Daniel started his professional career as a stockbroker and private banker with ErsteBank in Vienna and Credit Suisse in Zurich. In 2000, he teamed up with Oliver Holle and Werner Zahnt in their Fintech startup, offering mobile payments to the media, entertainment and information industries. In 2006, they sold their startup NASDAQ listed VeriSign in a €55 million exit.

Hussein Kanji

While forming Hoxton, he helped Eros STX Global develop ErosNow, an online streaming video platform for Bollywood.

Prior to Joining SR One, Philip was involved in several entrepreneurial ventures.

In 2006, Olav co-founded TempoCap which was part of the Draper Venture Network from 2012 to 2016. Since its formation, TempoCap has acquired 11 portfolios of assets and closed multiple single assets transactions. Between 2000 and 2004, Olav was a Managing Director of venture capital firm ETF Group and previously spent 6 years in investment banking at Enskilda Securities. Olav was educated at EM Lyon, France.

She has deep expertise in start-ups and the venture capital sector, with an emphasis on working with cross-border founders and entrepreneurs establishing their ventures in the USA and American investors investing in non-US based companies. 

Dana Khater

Dana is Principal at Creator Fund, and leads teams across Cambridge, London, and the North of England.

Dana was most recently an investor at firstminute capital ($200M fund based in London) where she focused on pre-seed and seed deals in the UK & the U.S. Prior to that, Dana was a student founder and built her business Coterique when she was 19 and still an undergraduate student. Coterique is a drop shipping platform that allows customers to discover and shop emerging fashion brands. It currently has a global clientele base across 30 countries and has processed over $1M in sales.

Dana has a BA in Economics with a minor in Electrical Engineering from The American University in Cairo.

Brian DeFee

Brian leads TTCP's global distribution team and is responsible for fundraising for Top Tier's offerings.

Prior to joining Top Tier, Brian was a Managing Director with Capstone Partners covering limited partners on the US east coast and was global lead for the firm's real asset / natural resources advisory practice. Before that, he held several marketing/IR roles with Panda Power Funds, Commerce Street Capital and Capital Dynamics. Brian worked with the Top Tier team from 2006 to 2008, prior to its spin out from Paul Capital, and started his career with J.P. Morgan's Equity Capital Markets group in San Francisco. Brian holds a B.S. in business administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

He also earned an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management with an emphasis on International Finance, where he graduated With Honors.

Farhan Lalji

Farhan leads the BBVA & Anthemis Venture Creation Partnership at Anthemis.

Farhan works with companies that are focused on evolving the digital finance and banking experience for consumers and companies. Previously, Farhan was a Partner at Rokk3r Labs, a global venture builder. He was also an executive at PeerIndex, a social media analytics platform that was acquired by Brandwatch in 2014, Yahoo! and various other startups and later-stage private companies.

He is an entrepreneur-in-residence at King’s College London and a part-time lecturer in managing digital organizations at London Business School. Farhan holds an undergraduate degree from McMaster University in Canada and an MBA from London Business School.

Mattias Ljungman

In 2006 he co-founded Atomico with Niklas Zennstrom, the founder of Skype.

Mattias started out as a research analyst in the 1990s and began his venture capital career in London in 2000 working with young tech companies on their strategy and eventually with their exits and IPOs for CLS Holdings. At Atomico, his key investments include Supercell ($5bn exit to Softbank), Klarna (valued at $10.65bn), Viagogo (valued over $2.25bn) and Climate Corp ($1.1bn exit to Monsanto).

He was an active board member and advisor to these companies when they were in the early stages of their development. At Atomico, he worked hard to inspire founders to think even bigger and he aims to do the same at Moonfire.

Dr Pooja Sikka

Pooja is a practising GP by background and has founded multiple healthcare businesses.

Pooja has over 16 years’ experience working across the healthcare sector with public and private bodies and NHS providers, leading multiple teams through high profile national and international projects and ventures. Pooja’s diverse clinical, managerial and entrepreneurial background has put her at the forefront of the changing healthcare landscape in Europe and emerging economies. She is known in the NHS for her health tech expertise and most recently set up a national programme for the NAPC (National Association of Primary Care), to help NHS providers select and roll out health tech products and services.

She serves as a council member and clinical advisor to NAPC and, as a founding member of the EY Ventures team, ran the health and social care investment portfolio. Pooja has launched an ‘NHS-style’ primary and cancer care in India, for which she remains a clinical and health tech advisor, as well as a UK-based health business delivering clinical services which exited in 2016.
