As FARFETCH’s VP of Growth, Edward leads the overall development of the Growth function and strategic opportunities across all global markets. Additionally, Edward is the Managing Director for FARFETCH in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), working alongside talented and cross- functional teams across offices in London, Dubai and Moscow. Edward joined FARFETCH in 2017 to set up and lead the business expansion across Middle Eastern markets.

He oversaw the launch of FARFETCH's regional website, app and operations, along with opening the first regional office in Dubai. Edward has MBA and science degrees in Applied Economics and Mathematics from IESE, MIT, AUB and Concordia and has a breadth of experience in Ecommerce, Marketing and Data Science from both startups and multinational companies. Edward is fluent in English, French, Arabic and Spanish

Matt has 20 years of market research and analytics working across Radio and press before moving into world of sport in 2008 when he took over as Head of EMEA Research at Eurosport. He headed up insight teams at ESPN, BT Sport and Sky Sports before joining F1 as Global Research Director in June 2017.

Ciro Di Lanno, class ‘89, is the co-founder of Mirta. After graduating in Theoretical Physics from the University of Naples, he started his career as strategic consultant at Boston Consulting Group.

At BCG, he worked as a generalist consultant for 3.5 years across different industries and big corporate clients on projects like strategic planning, restructuring, crisis management etc. Then, Ciro moved at Stanford GSB where he graduated with a MBA. In Silicon Valley, he had the opportunity to study closely the successful startup models and to focus on marketplaces. This experience brought him to start Mirta, with Martina Capriotti, following the belief that the future of the luxury industry will be driven by quality, uniqueness and human connection.

Martina Capriotti is the co-founder of Mirta. Born in Italy in 1989, she was only a kid when she started feeling strong interest and curiosity for other cultures and countries. She moved to Rome to study Political Science and international Relations as a Bachelor Degree and General Management as a Master Degree at LUISS Guido Carli, while two overseas programs allowed her to study in Universities in Europe and North America. Later on, her career in Boston Consulting Group brought her to Milan, where she met Ciro Di Lanno - now co-founder of Mirta-, and then to South Korea and Japan to work with local luxury brands.

Martina saw a big potential for Italian small businesses to grow in the Asian luxury market and, at the same time, identified the issues and difficulties for small businesses that wanted to approach it. She wanted to contribute to bringing the beauties of Made in Italy around the world and, in 2019, she joined forces with Ciro to launch Mirta, following the belief that the future of the luxury industry will be driven by quality, uniqueness and human connection.
